Seeking CTY Student Writers and Artists in Grades 5-9
Johns Hopkins CTY Online Programs course, Master Class II: Writing, Editing, and Publishing, is creating a literary journal titled Lexophilia to showcase work by CTY students and they are seeking student submissions.
Whether it’s art, poetry, nonfiction, or action-packed stories, Lexophilia will have something for everyone. A collaboration between CTY student authors and editors, the journal is a unique, authentic vehicle for showcasing the talents of aspiring young authors and artists.
Lexophilia is a word used to describe those who have a love for words, but we love artists too! By CTYers for CTYers, this journal aims to inspire young lexophiliacs all over the world to hone their craft and share their voice.
This year’s theme is “light.”
If you are a current CTY student in grades 5-9, please submit your creative writing and art about light before March 28, 2021.
