2023 AAGT Membership Rate Increase – Need to Know

AAGT is pleased to share important news regarding our membership. As of October 1, 2023, we will be implementing a modest increase in our membership rates – individual memberships will increase from $35 to $55 per year, with multi-year memberships also increasing. We understand that any change in fees can raise questions, so we wanted to take this opportunity to provide insight into why we have made this decision and how it will benefit our gifted and talented community.

Supporting Our Mission and Membership Rate Information

At AAGT, our mission is to advocate for gifted and talented individuals, their families, and their educators throughout Arizona. We strive to provide exceptional services, resources, and programs that foster the growth and development of these unique individuals. To continue delivering the highest quality of support and expand our reach, it has become necessary to adjust our membership rates. These increases are:

• Individual Membership (1 Year) will be $55 per person per year
• Individual Membership (3 Years) will be $130 per person per three-year period. We will stop offering an Individual (2 Year) membership as of 10/1/2023.

Over the years, we have diligently managed these costs to maximize our impact while keeping membership rates stable. However, as with any organization, we are faced with increased operational expenses, making it necessary to adjust our rates in 2023.

While we understand that a rate increase can be a consideration for some, we have strived to keep the adjustment modest and reasonable. We remain committed to ensuring that our membership remains accessible and inclusive. We firmly believe that the value provided by our organization and the benefits of membership outweigh the modest increase in fees.

How to Join or Renew at the 2022 Rate

To show our appreciation for your continued support, we are offering all current members the opportunity to renew their membership at the existing rate until October 1, 2023. This allows you to extend your membership or join at the current rate for an additional period, ensuring a seamless transition for our valued gifted and talented community.

The decision to increase our membership rates at AAGT was not taken lightly. It reflects our dedication to serving the gifted community, maintaining the quality of our programs, and expanding our support offerings.
