Classes of interest gifted students can take
Looking for interesting classes for your child this summer? Paradise Valley Community College has a plethora of noncredit, online classes that could benefit gifted students. Although the online courses are designed for adults, gifted students could take the courses with their parents' knowledge and supervision. The classes are six weeks in length with two lessons posted each week on Wednesday and Friday. The minimum requirements are a computer, email address, internet connection, and a web browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
Students could take a course to learn about a subject of interest or to learn a specific skill, such as creative writing or computer programming. Most courses are only $99 and you may access the first two lessons of a course at no charge. Courses start each month. Upcoming class dates are:
- May 20 - June 26
- June 17 - July 24
- July 15 - August 21
