AAGT Scholarships

AAGT is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for teachers and students.

Teacher scholarships are designed for those seeking G/T certification or recertification and must be used for college tuition for that specific purpose. The scholarships will fund 50% of the tuition of a course, not to exceed the amount of $500. Teacher applicants must be AAGT members in good standing.

Application packets should include the AAGT application, a letter explaining the reason for the request, current teaching assignment, and experience with gifted and talented students. A completed packet should include a copy of the registration materials/course description for which the scholarship is sought.

AAGT is currently considering scholarship applications for teachers that would like to attend Math Camp. Please submit application above. Scholarships awarded for Math Camp will be $100.

Student scholarships are designed for those gifted and talented students who wish to attend academic or artistic programs. The scholarships are for $100 and are available for students, K-12. Student applicants must be sponsored by an AAGT member. The application packet should include the AAGT student application, a letter of recommendation from a sponsor (who is an AAGT member), and copies of the summer program description and registration materials.
