Frequently Asked Questions about Math Camp

Are all grades lumped together in one class?
Students will be part of a “Team” with other students of various ages and grades.

Does Rachel provide individualized instruction based on where the child is in math?
The students will be exploring critical thinking, problem solving, algebra, geometry and other mathematical disciplines in a creative, discovery format.

Will there be an evaluation beforehand to determine the child's level in math?
An evaluation of the child’s ability is not necessary as the material that will be used will challenge all of the participants at the highest level of their ability.

Where will Math Camp be held?
In Phoenix our preferred location (at ASU downtown) cannot be confirmed until May 7. We are fairly confident of securing this location and will notify all registrants and provide directions as soon as we are able.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellations received in writing after May 24, 2010 will not receive a refund.
If registration is too low Math Camp will be cancelled - 2 Weeks prior to the event.

Due to cancellation this summer, all registrations received in 2010 will receive a refund.
