Why AAGT Affiliate Chapters?

  AAGT can't accomplish our mission of advocating for gifted children or encouraging the growth of quality program for gifted children without supporting parents of gifted students. One of the best ways to support parents is to assist local parent groups in forming and operating effectively. The AAGT Affiliate Chapter program makes it easier from the very first step.

Why Organize a Local Gifted Advocacy Group?

There is strength in numbers. The more people you can reach and educate about the needs of gifted children, the greater impact you will have on improving gifted education in your community.

Who May Affiliate?

• Parent Groups
•  Teacher Groups (instructional, including retired instructors)
• Gifted Coordinator Groups (programmatic)
• Student Groups
• Community/Business Partnership Groups
• Professional Service Groups
